If you're looking to learn about the amazing grounds outside of this historic site in a family friendly manner, then join Let's go Outdoors for a Fairmount Water Works Family Tour. It includes a 20-minute outdoor deck tour, inside exhibit overview and opportunity to watch a 15-minute film about the building’s important role in Philadelphia’s history. Even the littlest ones need guided opportunities to connect with the natural world, which is why Let's Go Outdoors created Baby Sense-sations and Baby/Tot Time-Out(doors) sessions. To offer babies and toddlers a secure, welcome and relatable way to engage in the outdoors, we use "everyday" preschool toys in outdoor environments to build their connection. Umbrella, Snowglobe, Beach Ball, Windchime, and Kiting are just a few of our FUN-TASTIC Adventures! Parents/caregiviers, you can join your curious, energetic young one(s) as they get active, creative and learn about their environment through entertaining activities. Parents/caregivers, this is your chance to be a "kid" again and/or show your child(ren) that you can be the AWESOME-EST outdoor explorer ever, just like them (and with them)! Our various Family Explorer programs are fun, guided and take place outdoors in greenspace, park/outdoor locations. There’s no planning required, materials are provided and knowledge of the outdoors is definitely not needed. Family time doesn’t get any better, especially if you’re looking for new or unique outings with you child(ren).
