Program Day/Time: All sessions currently on Saturdays from 9:30-10:30 or 10:30-11:30.
Session Location: All sessions September through June are held indoors in the Chestnut Hill area of Philadelphia (7500 Germantown Ave.).
Session Options
- 1-Hour Archery Fun & Games ($30): After learning the basics of using the bow/arrows safely, you'll get to play 2 fun archery games, encouraging healthy competition with others who attend. (Yes, we'll have small prizes)
- 1-Hour Group "Try" Archery Beginner-to-Intermediate Group Session ($30): A good starting point for those considering the 6-Week Explore Archery session, this lesson focuses on technique and the formal shot process. You get to play at least one game focused on a specific archery skill.
- 6-Week Explore Archery Session ($150): With the goal of increasing your form, technique, and focus over 6 consecutive weekly lessons, you'll expand your knowledge of the sport and move through each step of the shot process. Explore Archery offers maximum shooting time and continuous instructor feedback. Explore Archery participants leave with a participation certificate, increased confidence, and a lasting connection to the sport.
- .5 or 1-Hour Private Lesson ($30+):Prefer to learn alone for maximum focus and instruction, you will receive 1:1 instruction with a certified coach.
- 1.5 Hour Alumni Get-Togethers ($45):For those that have taken LGO's 6-Week Explore Archery Session within the past 2 years, join some of your prior classmates for group review, warm-up/open shooting, friendly competition (with prizes), snacks/refreshments, and games.
Looking for a good way to learn or improve archery skills? Let's Go Outdoors is offering lessons and programs for adults and children of all ability levels (minimum age is 8 years old). If you are looking for an introduction to archery, a group program that takes you through the fundamentals, a fun and games class, or a 1:1 private lesson, we have the right fit for you. You have the option of a single session, multiple lessons, or a full 6-week Explore Archery program. All lessons and programs are taught by USA Archery Level 1 Certified Instructors and we use Genesis Compound Bows (no bringing your own equipment), with the primary focus on safety, while delivering fun and engaging archery instruction. Please note that we are not teaching for hunting purposes - our goal is recreation/general sport.
